I’m a writer, editor, and communications consultant. With more than thirty years in the business, I’ve supplied these services to a wide swath of industry, notably media organizations, medical and academic institutions, and firms in the LOHAS/natural products marketplace. For the past twelve years, I’ve enjoyed working as an instructional designer/project manager for Colorado State University (CSU) Global Campus, based in Greenwood Village, CO.

My doctorate is in media studies, focusing on the treatment of notions of sustainability in the LOHAS-friendly media. Under Writing, you’ll find my portfolio, including academic books, trade- and consumer-magazine articles, and fiction and non-fiction.

Visit my blog Scribal Affair for a bit of a wander through social and cultural landscapes that I find beautiful and sometimes beastly. Thank you for stopping by.

“Be still when you have nothing to say; when genuine passion moves you, say what you’ve got to say, and say it hot.” — D. H. Lawrence

Quote of the Day

“The tree which moves some to tears of joy is in the eyes of others only a green thing that stands in the way. Some see nature all ridicule and deformity… and some scarce see nature at all. But to the eyes of the man of imagination, nature is imagination itself.”
― William Blake, Letter to Revd. Dr. Trusler (23 August 1799)
