I’m a writer, editor, researcher, and instructional designer. Over the course of my career in journalism and communication, I’ve written or edited a smattering of everything: features for trade and consumer magazines; investigative news; academic books; online curriculum; medical journal articles; retail and nonprofit promotional materials; and market research reports.
I hold a doctorate in Communication/Media Studies and a master’s in Technical Communication. Under Writing, you’ll find my portfolio.
Visit my blog Scribal Affair for a bit of a wander through social and cultural landscapes that I find beautiful and sometimes beastly. Thank you for stopping by.

Quote of the Day
“The tree which moves some to tears of joy is in the eyes of others only a green thing that stands in the way. Some see nature all ridicule and deformity… and some scarce see nature at all. But to the eyes of the man of imagination, nature is imagination itself.”
― William Blake, Letter to Revd. Dr. Trusler (23 August 1799)
