Monica Emerich is an award-winning writer, editor, and researcher. She’s a freelance journalist, creative writer, and book author.

Her nonfiction specialty is sustainability. In The Gospel of Sustainability: Media, Market and LOHAS, Monica examines the interconnections among sustainability, spirituality and the marketplace. She’s also the co-editor of Media, Spiritualities and Social Change (2011, Continuum).

Her historic, gothic novel won first place in its category in the 2012 Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers Colorado Gold program. She’s at work on a humorous memoir about about life in the Four Corners region.

Monica is president of Groundwork Research & Communications, a business communications and research services firm.



The Leighton Legacy, a romantic suspense novel, wins the 2012 Colorado Gold contest’s Romance Category. Colorado Gold is sponsored by the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers association.
